Based on insights from system thinking, system engineering and system modelling, you will
< learn about the relevance of history and context of innovation processes
< discuss beneficial and detrimental consequences of progress for different social groups
< understand the importance of an inter- and transdisciplinary „safe space“ and collaboration for guiding innovation processes
Finally, you select an ongoing innovation process to write a project proposal, review the proposals of your peers and pitch the results in front of the class. The seminar work is designed to train your skills in scrutinizing upcoming technological and societal changes. Your results might be applicable for start-up and spin-off accelerators applications, for your master thesis or even for scientific project proposal submissions.
